The Crest Story

Right from the start, Crest has meant quality, value, selection, service and support.

Crest Electronics, Inc. was created in 1974 when the Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) industry was in its infancy. Irv Rossman, industry pioneer and founder of Crest Electronics, saw the need for CCTV and quickly developed quality products to meet those needs. Also concerned with making sure that this budding industry met high ethical standards, Mr. Rossman co-founded the Security Industry Association (SIA) as a means to maintain industry integrity.

Now in our fifth decade, Crest Electronics continues to be the industry leader in providing state-of-the-art video security products and accessories, and we back all our products with a team of Crest Systems Consultants who will professionally assist you before, during, and after the sale. A lot has changed since 1974, but one thing that will never change is Crest’s commitment to quality products, customer service and technical support.
